Our second surgery today involved a 55-year-old patient with a kidney mass. The mass was detected during routine screening tests, even though our patient had no symptoms. Although the mass was quite large, we planned to remove only the tumor while preserving the kidney. For this purpose, we performed a laparoscopic partial nephrectomy, a minimally invasive surgical procedure. The operation has been completed. The tumor, measuring approximately 6.5–7 cm, was successfully removed using the minimally invasive technique. Due to the size of the tumor, the surgery took slightly longer than usual, but the procedure was completed successfully. Our patient is in good general condition. We plan to discharge the patient after approximately two days in the hospital.
